Sellem — Terms of service
Last updated 4 August 2026
1. The agreement
By creating a Sellem account you agree to these terms. If you are signing up on behalf of a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept them for that business.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for everything done through your account. Use a Google account or a password you do not reuse elsewhere, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
One account represents one person. Your shop workspace can hold your business data; do not share a single login with staff once staff accounts are available.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use Sellem to break the law, to store data you have no right to hold, to attack or overload the service, or to attempt access to another shop’s workspace. We may suspend accounts that do.
4. Your data stays yours
You own the products, sales, and records you enter. You grant us only the permission needed to host, back up, and display that data to you as part of running the service. We do not sell it and we do not use it to train anything.
5. Plans and payment
The Starter plan is free and may stay free indefinitely. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and cancel at the end of the period you have paid for; we do not pro-rate partial months. If pricing changes, existing subscribers get notice before it applies to them.
Sellem records how a customer paid you but does not process payments, so no transaction fees are taken from your sales.
6. Availability
We aim to keep Sellem available and fast, but we do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee on the current plans. Planned maintenance is announced in the app where it is likely to interrupt you.
7. Service changes
Features evolve. We may add, change, or retire parts of the product; if we remove something you rely on, we will give reasonable notice and, where we can, a way to export what you need.
8. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Sellem and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may terminate an account that breaches these terms, or a free account left unused for a long period — in which case we will try to reach you first.
9. Liability
Sellem is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost sales, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Keep your own record of anything you are legally required to retain, such as tax records. Sellem is a tool, not your accountant.
